Our cooperative is located in the heart of the island of Hvar, in picturesque village Svirče.

By entering the conformity assessment system with the requirements of organic production in 2002, we begin our journey to obtain the first Croatian top ecological wines.

The Agricultural Cooperative Svirče since 1997 begins with the purchase of the grape for Badel 1862, and since 1999 begins with the production and filling of wine.

Planned purchase of grapes, as well as wine production grows annually at a rate of 10%. From the very beginning the cooperatives defined their mission in the production of top quality wines of specific quality. We are famous for the production of "Ivan Dolac", one of the finest Croatian wines, and we also produce the first ecological wine in Croatia, as well as the late wine harvest of the same name.

Given the mentality of communion and the slogans of the villagers Svirč, the cooperative winery has a long history that has weathered and is still successful today.
 
From the very beginning the cooperatives defined their mission in the production of top quality wines of specific quality. We are also preparing for intensive olive cultivation in an ecological way and production of organic olive oil.
 
 
PZ Svirče has 88 cooperatives and almost as many subcontractors, covering a total of 120 ha, on the south coast of Hvar, in the interior of the island, around Svirca. It was founded in 1929, so that in 1969 the fusion with the Vinoprodukt of Zagreb disappeared. 11 years ago PZ Svirče was rebuilt and Hvar with Badel 1862, which was created by the merger of Badel and Vinoprodukt, signed a partnership agreement in the sense that then, for the wine-growing house in Zagreb, they bought the grapes. In 1999 it was followed by PZ Svirče, the holder of the protection of the gp., Who became independent in the production of wine and began to throw himself off. The contract stipulates that PZ Svirče is obliged to cooperate with the cooperatives for the cultivation of vineyards, to procure seedlings and equipment, including small mechanization and grape production equipment, to modernize the basement, to arrange access routes to the vineyards, to contact the Ministry of Agriculture and other relevant socio - political as well as with scientific institutions.
