Winemaker`s notes:
Valle 2018 displays pale lemon color. On the nose it is gentle, a bit restrained, showing its primary fruit and youth with a medley of peachy Malvasia notes and grassy, green pepper Sauvignon Blanc touch. None of the variety is dominant. Dry and light with good flavor intensity. On the palate Malvasia stands back a bit and Sauvignon steps slightly forward enhancing freshness and acidities. Uncomplicated, slightly salty and quite long. Probably the least aromatic Valle in last few vintages, making it very much a wine by glass for the restaurants.
Combining with food:
This a classic aperitif wine. It will find perfect company with all kind of salads, vegetables, risotto with asparagus all kind of cold dishes including seafood. Great also as a wine by glass in a good restaurant or wine bar. A classic summer wine.
Aging potential:
Drink it in next two years.
