Plavac Mali is an old, autochthonous Rotweinsort of southern Croatia. Zinfadel bzw. Primitive or Crljenak Kaštelanski is an outspoken Croatian resort and is very popular in California.
Tasting notes:
Mild pink color with an intense aroma of red berries and roses. Painted with a dry refreshing brush of dominant strawberry, raspberry and cherry aromas on the palette. Stylistically very modern interpretation of rose wine from best wine roots. As the palate develops, the wine leads through to a firm line of acidity ranging in flavor from crisp, clean apple to Thai basil and thyme. Fruity and floral notes intertwined with an expressive warm scent of the south makes this wine an excellent nutrition partner.

Perfect combination with crabs, shells. Lobster, prawns and young cheese.
