The Mali Plavac grapes come from the vineyard Sveta Nedjelja on the south side of the island of Hvar. For more than 18 months this top wine matured in oak barrels. This vinification ensures an extremely long shelf life of 15 to 20 years.
Color: bright ruby red.
Complex in the nose, dominated by black berries, cherry, Mediterranean spices, earth, leather and vanilla.
On the palate, blackberry, cassis, pleasant spicy oak, dark chocolate.
Perfect acid-tannin balance; powerful and elegant through the extra long finish. Enjoyed as a soloist, the Grand Cru is a real meditation plavac.
Also a perfect companion to grill and meat dishes.
