The Postup is a dry quality wine and is sometimes referred to as the little brother of the better known Dingač. It was already awarded in 1967 with the quality label (Vrhunsko vino = top wine) and the protected designation of origin and is one of the most notable red wines in Croatia and the best varietal wines.

The postup is made from Mali Plavac. The vineyards of Matuško are located on the peninsula Peljesac.

This wine goes well with grilled meat and fish. It is also suitable for game dishes or duck in red wine sauce.

Alcohol content: 13.5% Vol.
Best serving temperature: 18-20 ° C
