Recognized as the most important Croatian grape variety Malvasia comprises almost two thirds of the total wine production in the Istrian region.
Malvasia is a dry wine, with a golden/yellow color with green nuances. It has a creamy full body with a recognizable variety aroma and a pleasant and well rounded mineral taste.

The Fakin "La Prima" Malvasia is grown on "Komarso" single vineyard and is a multiple prize-winner. The flagship amongst the Fakin white wines!

Vinification:

  • Harvested by hand at the start of October
  • Maceration 4 days
  • Pressing
  • Fermentation on natural yeast

Aging:

  • Wooden Acacia Barrique barrels for 12 months
  • 6 months in bottle

Alcohol: 15 Vol. %
