The Dingac is a dry top red wine with excellent quality. It is vinified in Dingac, in Potomje and some other places on the southern coast of the Pelješac Peninsula, from very late harvest, partly already roséed vines of the indigenous Mali Plavac vine. The acreage of the location is strictly limited and the grapes are harvested by hand. This top wine is a true natural product.

Its color is red with a light brownish character, typical of ripened Plavac wines. It smells of Beerenobt and cherries, paired with light aromas through maturation in wooden barrels.

Wine Region: Pelješac
Alcohol content: 13% - l4% Vol. (In exceptional years also up to 15% Vol.)
Maturity: 5-10 years

The Dingač was the first, then Yugoslav quality wine, the 1961 Protected Designation of Origin and the predicate Kvalitetno Vino (Outstanding Wine) received.
The Dingač is one of the best known and best Croatian red wines of the highest quality.
